Wilma Nauber, 80, of Clarissa, MN, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2021, surrounded by her family. Funeral services for Wilma will be held on Monday October 4, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Rose City Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Terry Stumbo officiating. Interment will be held at Woodman Cemetery in Clarissa, MN.
Wilma was born on February 27,1941, in Braham, MN to Edward and Jacoba (Klumper) Burk. She graduated from South High in Minneapolis, MN in 1959. She married Donald Nauber on May 27, 1961. Wilma and Donald farmed together for many years, while raising their children. She also loved her work at the Central Todd County Care Center in Clarissa, MN, where she was a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Wilma was an open-minded woman who had a strong faith. She would often pray for her family and friends long into the night. She was loving, caring, and never met a stranger. She enjoyed camping, reading, playing cards and dominoes, putting puzzles together and spending time with her grandkids and friends. Wilma was also an active Pegs and Jokers player at the Clarissa Senior Citizen Center.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Edward & Jacoba, son Donnie, in laws, Bill & Edna Nauber, brothers-in-law: Warren Nauber, Butch Nauber, and Jim Moore, and sister in-law: Josephine Nauber.
Wilma is survived by her husband Donald, children: Pamela (Robert) Christensen of Miltona, Karin (Katrina) Nauber of Clarissa, grandchildren: RC (McKenzie), Isaac (Kylie), Samantha (Bailey), Aaron, Mary (Sean Nordquist), and Autumn (Karan Bond). 10 great-grandchildren, siblings: Gary (Sandy) Burk, Edward (Joyce) Burk, Kenneth (Pat) Burk, Bill (Nancy) Burk, Tim (Debbie) Burk, other in-laws on Don’s side of the family and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
