From a young age, Teresa had a great love of animals and poetry, she wrote many beautiful pieces. Teresa spent time working for Super America and Stearns Manufacturing while her children were young. Later in life, she wore many hats, working for hotels, gas stations, restaurants, and housekeeping.
Her marriages to Dale Buchta and Al Hayes blessed her with four children, Tamara, Jessie, Tommy, and Alyssa. Later in life, she spent several years with Curt Larson. Even though they didn't marry, he was someone she loved dearly. Teresa was a stubborn but loyal friend and really loved the rumble of an old Mustang. She enjoyed Nascar and Tony Stewart, but her heart was on the dirt track where she spent many weekends with the 6X team. While her kids were little, many weekends were spent camping with family and friends. Sitting around a bonfire full of laughter and making memories brought great joy to Teresa.
