Susan LaRoe came into the world on September 10, 1952, the daughter of Carroll and Donna (Smith) Miller of Bertha. She graduated from Staples High School and then ventured out into the workforce and lived life like the true adventurer she was. During her first marriage, she had two wonderful children, Kristi and Jeff. Later after the marriage ended, Sue married her Love Dove, Tim Duncan on October 15, 1995. They took part in the many activities that their community offered, enjoying rural small-town life. One of her many favorite activities was sports. She enjoyed watching and playing softball, but her favorite joy in life was to cheer her grandkids on in the various activities they participated in. Sue ziplined, white water rafted, parasailed, walked daily, hiked, fished, and explored all she could. Making memories was her passion and being the instigator of mischief was her forte. This fun, talkative, feisty woman was a true blessing to all that got to meet her and experience life with her.
When she was not getting into mischief, she could be found in the flower garden, baking her famous sugar cookies, picking grapes at Woeste’s vineyard, putting together a puzzle, volunteering at church, and greeting everyone with a hug. Sue had a heart of gold. Her most fulfilling job in life was being the proudest grandma EVER! A smile to her face and a twinkle in her eye, her grandkids brought her so much joy. She went to everything that the kids and grandkids were involved in. She had TIGER PRIDE deep in her soul and enjoyed every minute of their activities and time together with family and friends. She was their “SUPER FAN!”
Sue entered the heavenly garden on Friday, April 8, 2022, at the age of 69. She leaves behind her husband, Tim “Dunc” Duncan; children, Kristi (Kelly) Callahan, Jeffrey “Jeff” (Erica Jonckowski) Myers, Grandchildren, Paige, Marissa & Sydney Callahan, Tyra, Anna, Matthew & William Myers all of Browerville; her father, Carroll Miller; siblings, Sherry (Greg) Frisk, Bob (Diana) Miller, Elaine Case, Duane (Laurie) Miller, Curt (Sue Tepley) Miller, Nancy (Craig) Johnson, and Brian “Shag” Miller. Along with many nieces and nephews.
She joined her mother, Donna Miller, and brother, Ron Miller in heaven.
