On November 18th, 2023, at 94 years old, Seretha took her last breath surrounded by family.

 The family and friends will celebrate her life with a gathering May 11th, 2024,1:30 pm. The celebration will be at Seretha’s home in rural Osakis.

Seretha Marie Clark (Potter) Devoted Loving Wife/Best Friend, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great-Grandmother Seretha was born on January 2nd a, 1929 to Ellery and Magdalena (Anthony) Potter of Sauk Centre, Minnesota. Seretha was the fifth of six Potter children. She attended school in Sauk Centre and graduated from the Sauk Centre High School. She had dreams of becoming an opera singer and worked to pay for opera and violin lessons during her teen years. While working in the Sauk Centre area she met the love of her life, Gerald "Jerry" Clark. They married on December 20th, 1947, and shortly after moved to the Twin Cities. They were blessed with three children, Loren, Sheryl and Bette. While raising the children Seretha worked at selling Avon and Tupperware, she even drove school bus for a while. She then took full time employment as a payroll clerk for 3M Company for which she worked 20+ years. Jerry and Seretha enjoyed taking the family on camping trips and traveling to see family and friends. They purchased land and a family cabin in Marcel and would spend time up there. This is where they moved when they both retired. Seretha also could be found painting nature pictures on many types of medium, from canvas to saw blades. She loved doing these for family and friends. Jerry and her were best friends and loved to do many things together. Some of those were dancing, car shows, traveling, etc. During the last couple years of her life, she moved in with Sheryl in Osakis. While there she formed a precious bond with her Great-Great-Grandson Asher who was just an infant when she moved there. He gave her much joy on a daily basis, and he grew to love her very much.

On November 18th, 2023, at 94 years old, Seretha took her last breath surrounded by family. She leaves behind her children, Loren (Marilyn) Clark, Sheryl Robinson, and Bette (Charlie) Barrett; six Grandchildren, Kim (Mike), Chane (Donna), Cameron (Roberta), Rachel (Nick), Troy (Steph) and Lance; twelve Great-Grandchildren and three Great-Great-Grandchildren. Greeting her in heaven were her best friend and husband, Gerald "Jerry" Clark and Grandson Mark Gonser. She lived a full and happy life with family always close.
