Rosemary “Rosie” Iten, 81-year-old resident of Browerville, MN passed away November 22, 2024 at Central Todd County Care Center surrounded by her family. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM on Friday, November 29, 2024 at Christ the King Catholic church in Browerville, and one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Rosie was born on November 6, 1943, in Browerville to Rudolph “Rudy” and Emma Biermaier. She graduated from Browerville High School with the class of 1961. One evening Joseph Iten was out with his friends and met their little sister, Rosie Biermaier. Over time the two became smitten with each other and were united in marriage on October 20, 1973, at St. Williams Catholic Church in Fridley, MN. Their union combined their blessings, Daniel, Carol, and Lisa. Not long after little Joey was born. The couple, after their marriage, lived in the twin Cities area, but eventually moved back home to be close to family and rural living. Rosie enjoyed reading, watching birds, growing flowers and house plants. She will be remembered for her big loving heart towards everyone that she encountered.

Rosie is survived by her children, Daniel (Wanda) Feela, Carol (Al Simonson) Schroeder, Lisa Feela and Joey (Stacey) Iten; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Jack Biermaier, Jim (Shirley) Biermaier, Janice Gonsior, Bob Biermaier, Ted (Evie) Biermaier, Delores (Larry) Irsfeld, Joyce (Richard) Lavoie, and Virginia (Greg) Zilka. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Iten; former husband, Theodore Feela; infant son, David Iten; brother, Jerry Biermaier; and many in-laws.
