A Celebration of Life for Ron will be held on June 22, 2025, starting at 2:00pm at the home of Tammy and Leon Zierden, 610 Central Ave, St. Stephen, MN. All who knew Ron are welcome to attend and share memories.


Ronald M. Then, age 60, passed away on June 11, 2025, after a long battle with mental health. Ron was born on January 12, 1965, to Eugene and Phyllis (Kedrowski) Then, and raised on a dairy farm in St. Cloud was one of nine children. He attended Apollo High School. Throughout his life, Ron was known for his strong work ethic, generous heart, his ability to fix anything, and his willingness to help anyone in need. Ron was currently employed at Performance Foods in Rice. Previous careers included Traut Wells, Electrolux, and Thunder Valley Automotive. 


Ron loved riding his Harley, four-wheeling, camping, grilling, hosting get-togethers, and relaxing around campfires. He cherished spending time with his family and friends, and his happiest moments were spent surrounded by those he loved.


Ron is survived by his wife Kerri, daughter Kirsten Bauer (Zach), their daughter Willow Bauer; his son Justin Then (Randy Mortenson); his mother Phyllis Then; his siblings Danette (sister in law) of Randall, LeRoy of Rice, Judy (James) Woods of Rice, Tammy (Leon) Zierden of St. Stephen, Amy Weaver of Rice, Dayna Then (Rod) of Emmaville, Heidi (Joseph) Anderson of Rice; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved him deeply.


He was preceded in death by his father Eugene Then; brother Joseph Then, sister Brenda Habiger and other loved ones who have gone before him.
