Roger Petron

Roger Ervin Petron, 69, passed away peacefully at home in Alexandria, MN on January 1, 2021.  He was born to Ervin and Lorraine (Burger) Petron November 27th, 1951 in Long Prairie.  Roger lived and worked on the family potato farm for several decades, then studied at Staples Vocational School and became a machinist.  He most recently worked at Alexandria Pro-Fab where coworkers enjoyed his easy-going style and sense of humor.

A life-long Minnesotan, Roger loved the outdoors including hunting and fishing, and was a dedicated fan of the Vikings and Twins.  He appreciated music, especially rock and country.

Roger is survived by his sister, Carol (Petron) Glazerman, brother-in-law Charles Glazerman, nephews Jonathan Glazerman and David Glazerman, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
