Patricia Marie was born on Oct.15th, 1941 to Frank and Susan (Fietek) Piekarski in Little Falls Mn where she grew up and attended school.
Pat had different jobs throughout her life, but then she started working at Larson Boat Works in Little Falls, MN and that is when she met the love of her life Richard Rech and the two of them were united in marriage on June 1, 1969. Together they built a loving home and were blessed with four children., in Browerville, MN.
Pat was known for her incredible work ethic and dedication to her family. Alongside her husband she ran a clothing store and D&P carpet cleaning service. She also worked at the local grocery store as well as several years at Electrolux. She had a natural gift for customer service and always went out of her way for others.
Later on in life Pat worked at Central Todd County Care Center in Clarissa MN in dietary for several years. After leaving the care center Pat could be found selling pull tabs at the local Liquor Store or working at “Kids Stuff” in Long Prairie which she truly enjoyed.
Pat could be sassy and spunky at times, but that fiery spirit was part of what made her so unforgettable and deeply loved by those around her.
Above all else, Pat cherished her family. She especially adored her grandchildren and took every opportunity to spoil them. They brought endless joy and smile to her life. Whether it was cheering from the stands, attending school events, or simply spending time together, Pat never missed a chance to support the people she loved most.
Pat believed in living life fully. A trip to the casino was one of her favorite ways to unwind after a busy week. She was often seen driving through town with her best friend Zeus (dog), which was clearly a sight as he sat in the passenger seat. Many trips were made daily. In quieter moments, she could often be found curled up in a good book after spending the day tending to her flowers and tending to her many beloved cats. Her warmth, humor, and loving spirit will be remembered always by all who knew her.
