Michael Sadlo Obituary

Michael Thomas Sadlo passed away at CentraCare Hospital Monday, March 10th, 2025, at the age of 65. A funeral service in his honor will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 18th, 2025, at Iten Funeral Home in Browerville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Browerville, MN.

Michael was welcomed into this world on January 30th, 1960, by his parents, Roman and Ann (Paul) Sadlo. He ended up securing a good spot in-between his two brothers, Bob and Sam, and played the role of middle child very well. He was a natural born talker and had no problem sharing many conversations with those around him which consisted of being “light on the truth, and heavy on the tall tales”.

Michael’s deep passion for country life was shown through his love for both country music and life on the family dairy farm. He had many special ladies in his life, knowing each cow by their name versus their number.  Hearing Michael's voice each day as he came into the barn for milking, made them all equally happy as well.

Heading out to the deer stand each fall with his grocery bag of snacks and taking long naps in his stand was one of Michael's favorite hobbies. Although he never shot a trophy buck, he was more than happy to just be a part of the many conversations and memories with family and friends during the hunting season.

Michael was known as a “jack of all trades, master of none” and became a memorable employee and very much enjoyed being a carpenter for Gary Stracek and Fred Becker as well as his time at Stearns Rubber, Land O’ Lakes, and the Sawmill.

He was known for having a big heart and will dearly be missed by both the family and friends that knew him and had the privilege of being around him.

Michael is survived by his two brothers, Bob (Dolly) Sadlo, and Sam (Cathy) Sadlo; nieces & nephews, Erica (Ryan Dwire) Sadlo, Angie (Andrew) Doucette, Samuel Sadlo, Alan (Marissa) Sadlo, Brent Sadlo, Cole (Jen) Sadlo; and adopted granddaughter, Shyan Wittmier. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roman and Ann Sadlo.
