Linda Elaine (Wolff) Kruzel

Linda Kruzel of Long Prairie passed away surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at the Centra Care Long Prairie Hospital. Linda was 77 years old.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the American Lutheran Church in Long Prairie at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service.

Linda “Lynn” Elaine Kruzel was born in Canby, Minnesota on December 19, 1944, the daughter of William and Stella (Melby) Wolff. Linda attended school in Canby and graduated in 1962 from Clarkfield High School. After graduation she continued her education to pursue a career in nursing. In 1963 she graduated from the Practical Nursing program in Alexandria and obtained her  Minnesota State License. Linda worked her entire career in nursing from 1975 to her retirement in 2010 at St. Michael's Hospital /Long term care in Sauk Centre. For Linda, God was a priority in her life. She made it a goal to live life to the fullest each day. She loved her family with all her heart and always pursued peace. Her favorite memories include spending time at the lake and family get-togethers. Her love of cooking and baking was enjoyed by all who entered her door whether they were hungry or not. Generosity was her way of showing love to all. Christmas was Linda's favorite holiday. She loved the joy of shopping for the perfect gifts, baking and decorating treats, and celebrating Jesus’ birth. Spending holidays at home with all her family were the most cherished moments to her. Linda had an open heart and door to the many friends and family who would frequently stop in for a game of cards, go out for lunch, and of course shopping! In her down time, she enjoyed watching football, the Minnesota Twins, and reading a good book. Racing brought a twinkle to her eye, especially cheering on #10 Justin, her grandson from “Broooooten”, as granddaughter Gabby would love to say. She cheered for Jeff Gordon in the Nascar circuit. Linda also enjoyed a quick trip to the casino occasionally and making memories come to life through scrapbooking. Lynn and Bob enjoyed many years at Sunset Bay on Lake Mary in Alexandria as well as numerous trips to Cedar Lake Raceway and Friday nights at Viking Speedway. Linda is a member of the American Lutheran Church. She enjoyed hearing God's word, pastor Ethan’s visits, Sunday church on the computer when she could not be there in person and spent time daily in
devotion. Linda was thankful for life, healing, and knowing that God was forever in control. When God created Linda, he created a one in a million lady. Her generosity, care for others, and spunky personality will be forever missed by her family and friends.

On October 19, 2022, Linda passed away at the Long Prairie Hospital where she was surrounded by her family in love and prayer. She leaves behind her husband of 45 years, Robert “Bob”; children, Todd (Denise) Vogel of Watson, Scott (Jean) Vogel of Brooten, Jeffery (Christa) Vogel of Big Lake, Tammy (Tom) Rosenow of Bertha, and Stacy (Jon) Vogel of Farmington; grandchildren, Eston (Carrie) Vogel of Sauk Rapids, Tamara (Jon) Boeckermann of Holdingford, Erika (Evan) Vogel of Sartell, Justin Vogel of Brooten, Travis Vogel of Brooten, Jessica (Andrew) Vogel of Clotho, Benjamin (Desiree) Rosenow of Sauk Rapids, Tiffany (Josh) Rosenow of Long Prairie, Caitlin (Trent) Walser-Deuel of Big Lake, Gabby & Mathew Vogel of Dawson, Samantha & Jordan Mayer of Farmington; great-grandchildren, Riley, Basil, Leander and Theodore, Jasmine, Kason, Abriella, Madison, Lane, Gabriel, Ellie Mae, Hudson; brother, Charles (Bev) Wolff; Many nieces and nephews, Bob’s eight brothers and sisters and their families; many very special friends. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, William and Stella Wolff; and infant brother.
