Leora was born October 27, 1924, in Ward Township, Todd County, to August & Nina (Mae) Johnson.  On February 23, 1945, she married Russell Lundstrom at the Lutheran church parsonage in Clarissa.  Leora worked for many years as a grocery clerk.  She enjoyed working in her flower beds, going to the casino, crocheting, embroidering, watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings and especially going on her trips with her long-time friend Lucille Fearing.  Leora is a member of the United Methodist Church in Clarissa.

Leora is preceded in death by her parents; husband Russell, infant daughter Kathleen, son Wayne, brother Willis Johnson, infant twin sisters, brother-in-law Robert Lundstrom and sister-in-law Marcella (Roy) Boyer.

Leora is survived by her daughter, Iris (Curt) Hegseth of Clarissa, grandchildren:  Kelly (Joe) Bryniarski, Colleen (Denis) Parteka, Ted (Jamy) Hegseth, Kari (Brad) Tollerson, Christine Lundstrom, Matt (Megan) Lundstrom; 10 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Cathy Lundstrom, sisters-in-law Ethel Lundstrom and Loretta Johnson.
