Leo Benjamin was born April 30, 1940, in Moran Township, Todd County, to Leo & Clara (Wagner) Pogreba Sr. He worked as a machinist until his retirement. Leo enjoyed traveling, especially to South Dakota for prairie dog hunting, wood working, hunting, gardening, driving his Farmall tractor and fishing. Leo was a member of the NRA for many years. He loved looking at the night sky through his telescope.
Leo is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Anthony and John; nephews: Daniel and Nathan DeBolt and Brothers-in-law: Robert DeBolt and Joe Brawthen.
Leo is survived by his siblings: Roland (Virginia) Pogreba, of Staples, Gregory (Judy) Pogreba of Hinckley, Mark (Brenda) Pogreba of Sylvan Shores, Joan DeBolt of Staples, Marlene Brawthen of Staples, Stephen (Janice) Pogreba of Staples, Eunice (Tim) Swanson of Excelsior, Romaine (Maggie) Pogreba of Browerville, Inez Pogreba of Staples, Theresa (Mike) Larson of Arden Hills, Rita (Doug) Ward of Lady Lake, FL, Duane Pogreba of Browerville and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
