Lee Rodney Busch

Lee Rodney Busch, age 68, of Browerville, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026, at the CentraCare Long Prairie Emergency Room.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the Mass. Interment will follow immediately at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery in Browerville.

Lee was born on September 30, 1957, in Browerville to Rodney and LaVerne (Gaida) Busch. He grew up in the Browerville area, graduated from Browerville High School with the Class of 1975, and later attended technical college for two years.

On January 9, 1993, Lee married the love of his life, Karen Wettstein. Together, they built a life centered on family, hard work, and simple pleasures.

Lee was known as a quiet and caring man whose actions spoke louder than words. He enjoyed spending his free time hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and working on tractors and cars. He had a knack for fixing just about anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand when someone needed it.

Above all else, Lee treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Whether sharing stories, teaching them about the outdoors, or simply enjoying their company, those moments brought him his greatest joy.

Lee is survived by his loving wife, Karen; his children, Eli (Ashlynn) Busch and Emily (Andrew) Dirkes; his mother, LaVerne; his siblings, Lloyd Busch, Renee (Rodney) Busch-Minke, and Nancy (Jeff) Becker; his cherished grandchildren, Winston, Cashton, Gavin, Clay, and Addison; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Busch.

Lee will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his willingness to help others, and the quiet love he shared with his family. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
