LeRoy Schultz, 88, of Long Prairie passed away on April 3, 2020.  A private family interment was held at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Long Prairie.

LeRoy was born October 11, 1931, in Long Prairie to Edward & Ella (Dehn) Schultz.  He graduated from Long Prairie High School and in 1950 joined the National Guard.  LeRoy married Roselyn Mollner in 1955; they had three children:  Candace, LeRoy Edward and Paul.  LeRoy worked for many years at Starry Construction and Central Specialties as a mechanic.  He was a member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Long Prairie and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

LeRoy is preceded in death by his parents; children:  Candace and Paul; siblings:  Roselyn Blais, Ellen Peterson, Dale Schultz and Daniel Schultz.

LeRoy is survived by his wife of 63 years Roselyn, son LeRoy Edward (Jane) Schultz of Eagle Bend, 5 grandchildren:   Jill, Jaculyn, Nikki, Randi and Cody; 8 great grandchildren and sister Donna Schneekloth of Long Prairie.
