Joyce Reimer, age 83, of Alexandria, Minnesota, passed away on July 28, 2026. Born on March 3, 1943 in Worthington, Minnesota to Henry and Leita Reimer, Joyce grew up in a loving family and later graduated from Grey Eagle High School. She spent most of her life in Little Falls before moving to Alexandria twelve years ago to retire and be closer to her family.

Joyce was known for her kindness, humor, and happy-go-lucky spirit that made everyone around her feel welcome. She loved helping people and found joy in simple, peaceful moments – reading, working on puzzles, watching birds, and practicing upholstery, a craft she truly enjoyed. Joyce worked for many years at Larson’s Boat Factory, where she was appreciated for her dedication and strong work ethic.

Family meant everything to Joyce. She shared a close, lifelong bond with her sisters Bev and Margaret, and her brothers Arnie and Ray. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her great-great nephew, Leon, who lovingly knew her as Gigi. Joyce, Bev, and Margaret spent multiple days each week with him, creating cherished memories filled with laughter, patience, and love.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Long Prairie.

Joyce’s legacy lives on in her gentle heart, her humor, her love for family, and the kindness she shared so freely with everyone she met.
