Jerome Henry was born May 24, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois to Clarence & Helen (Szotek) Marcoullier. He graduated high school from the Marmion Military Academy. Jerome graduated from Notre Dame College receiving a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Journalism. He married Arlene Jedlinski on August 22, 1964. Jerome worked several jobs in Chicago: Foreman at Republic Steel, Manager at Montgomery Wards, sold truck trailers at Trail Mobile and ran Clarence's Meat Market & Grocery for five years. In 1975, Jerome, Arlene and children moved to Long Prairie where they farmed for 45 years. Jerome loved practicing the traditional Catholic faith, his family and working.
Jerome is preceded in death by his parents; sons in infancy: Jerry and Andrew; sisters: Marianne Mackoviak and Janice DeMercede. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Arlene; children: Mary Marcoullier, Matthew (Aidan) Marcoullier and 10 grandchildren: Andrew, Madeliene, Maria, Isaac, Sophie, Alexander, Isabella, Monique, Veronica and Thomas; siblings: Clarice Guiostolise, C. James Marcoullier and Carole Lee Griffith.
