Humberto "Tito" Luna

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Christ the King Catholic Church at 11:00 AM, with Father Mitchell Bechtold and Father Omar Guanchez as celebrants.

Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 PM, on Friday, July 7, 2023, followed by visitation time until 8:00 PM at the Iten Funeral Home in Browerville.

Visitation on the day of the funeral will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Humberto “Tito” Luna was born on June 11, 2004, in Washington state, the son of Humberto and Lorena Luna. During his short life, he also lived in Arizona, Colorado, Canada, and Minnesota.

Tito was a big fan of the NBA,  his favorite players were Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Lebron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Stephen Curry.  Music was his other interest, listening mostly to rap and some corridos.

He loved spending time with his friends and playing video games.  He always referred to the 11th grade as his best school year, just before he got diagnosed with cancer. After high school, he enrolled at Alexandria Community College to become a nurse. He wanted to work at the Proton Radiation Center at the Mayo Clinic where he received that kind of treatment. He will always be remembered as the most kind, respectful, and loving young man.

After a courageous battle with cancer, Tito passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 19. He is survived by his mother Lorena, his father Humberto, and his two sisters: Cinthya and Stephanie.
