Harry Lloyd Carlson was born to Oscar and Emma (Brabec) Carlson on October 12, 1927 on the family farm in Ward Township.  He married Florence Sadlo September 10, 1949 and two children were born to this union: Karen and Wayne.  Harry farmed for many years and worked at Agri-Valley in Clarissa.  When Harry retired, he and Florence moved into Browerville and he worked at the Todd County Transfer Station for a short time.  In his retirement, Harry was always willing to help his son and grandson farm and always enjoyed driving tractor.

He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Florence of Browerville, daughter Karen Eggerth of Long Prairie, son Wayne of Browerville, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Harry is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Emma, sisters, Ann Kohanek, Florence Thompson, son-in-law, Jay Eggerth, brothers-in-law Roger Sadlo, Roman Sadlo and sister-in-law Ann Sadlo.
