Gloria (Cuchna) Christensen

Gloria was born March 15, 1934, in Eagle Valley Township, to Leo & Pauline (Fuchs) Cuchna.  After graduation, Gloria attended college at St. Cloud to earn her teaching degree.  Gloria married Silverius Hauer in 1957; after Silverius’s death she married William Christensen on March 24, 1970.  She enjoyed following her children and grandchildren’s sporting events, going shopping, and getting her hair and nails done.  Gloria was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville.

Gloria is survived by her husband Bill; children:  Jeffry Hauer, Tammi (Joe) Brisson and Jill Olson; grandchildren:  Josh Hauer, Jay Brisson, Scott Hauer, Bo Olson, Kari Hauer, Ann Mathieu, Amy Brisson, Ashley Olson and Kim Thompson; 17 great grandchildren; siblings:  Linda (Jim) Line, Debbie (Cuchna) Monson, Reed (Judy) Cuchna, Tom (Linda) Cuchna, Ronnie (Brenda) Cuchna; sisters-in-law Janet Cuchna, Rosie (Tom) Olson, brothers-in-law Jerry Hinzmann, Buck Christensen, former daughters-in-law:  Betty Hauer, Caroline Sheltrack and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents; husband Silverius Hauer, son-in-law Mike Olson; siblings:  Roger Cuchna, Glenis Hinzmann, half-brothers:  Philip and Mark Cuchna; in-laws, Jim & Mary Christensen, and Ginger and Richard Hammelman.
