Florence was born August 15, 1933, on the family farm in Fawn Lake Township to Matthew & Christine (Gettl) Kasper.  She married Richard (“Butch”) Avery at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples on May 21, 1955.  Florence worked as a CNA in Richfield for many years.  In 1983, they moved to Staples where Florence continued working as a CNA for several years at the Staples Nursing Home until her retirement.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard and 15 siblings.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
