Douglas Darrel Foote

Douglas "Doug" Foote, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Doug was 75 years old.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the Iten Funeral Home Chapel in Browerville, starting at 5:00 PM with a short prayer service followed by visitation and time of fellowship until 8:00 PM.  Burial will take place at a later date at the family cemetery.

A farmer, pilot, motorcyclist, hunter, horseman, fisherman, boater and more. A Devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Doug was born on December 5, 1947 in Kerkoven, Minnesota, the son of Darrel and Ruby (Olson) Foote. He graduated from Kerkoven High School, this is where he would meet his future wife, MaryJo Olson. The couple was united in marriage, being blessed with two sons, Darrin and Jason. The couple later moved to Browerville Minnesota.  Doug was strong willed but always ready to try something new, there were not too many dull moments in their many years together.

Doug passed away peacefully with MaryJo and his boys by his side on Sunday, September 17, 2023. Doug was 75 years old. He leaves behind his wife, MariJo; children, Darin (Mary- special friend ) Foote, Jason (Karla) Foote; grandchildren, Justin (Amber) Foote and their children, Alice and Isaac, Devin (Liz) Foote; Haili Jo Foote; brother, DeWight (Pat) Foote; sister Darlene Reichenberger. He is preceded in death by his parents, Darrell and Ruby Olson; brother Dennis Foote; and Daughter-in-law, Stephanie Foote.
