Dorothy Helen Bryniarski Obituary

Dorothy Helen (Krist) Bryniarski, was born on July 3, 1940, to Frank and Gertrude (Goligowski) Krist. She grew up in the Cushing area, attending School District 106 through the eighth grade before continuing her education at Browerville High School, where she graduated in 1957.

Dorothy spent her early working years in the Twin Cities. In 1966, she returned home to Cushing and began working in Long Prairie, and on May 28, 1966, married the love of her life, Kenneth “Kenny” Bryniarski. Together they built a life grounded in hard work, family, and quiet joy.  They were blessed with three children, Robert, Pamela, and Lynn.

Dorothy was a loving grandmother to Rakel, Ali, Hannah, and Dominic, each of whom she welcomed with equal love.

Dorothy enjoyed life’s simple pleasures—playing cards, reading, embroidering, visiting with friends and family, watching television, and playing Bingo.  From 1986 to 2007, she cleaned homes for more than fifty families.

Later in life, Dorothy and Kenny moved to Lakewood Pines in Staples, where they spent five years together. During that time, they completed more than 250 puzzles.

Dorothy will be remembered for her kindness, her welcoming heart, and her dedication to family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and treasured memories that will live on in all who knew her.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; her daughter Pamela; and her brother Jerome Krist.

She is survived by her son, Robert (Kimberly) of Cushing; Son-in-Law Tom Loesch of Kimball; and daughter Lynn Lindquist (Chris) of Browerville; sister-in-law, Diane Krist of Plano, TX: brother, Roger (Bernice) Krist of Cushing; sister Marlene (Roger) Jeziorski of Cushing; grandchildren, Rakel (Dakota) Tresco, Ali Bryniarski, Hannah (Nate) Chaffin, and Dominic Lindquist;  great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Maya, Nora Tresco, Peyton, and Cooper Chaffin.
