Donna Schneekloth passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at St. Gabriel's Hospital at the age of 85.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 9th, 2023, at 1:00pm at American Lutheran in Long Prairie with Pastor Ethan Fearing presiding. Visitation will be one and a half hours prior to the service. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery of Long Prairie, MN. following the service.

Donna L. Schneekloth, 85 of Long Prairie passed away Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023 at St. Gabriel’s Hospital with family by her side. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the American Lutheran Church in Long Prairie with Pastor Ethan Fearing presiding. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Long Prairie following the service.

Donna Lou Schultz was born in Long Prairie to the late Edward and Ella (Dehn) Schultz. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanual Lutheran Church in Long Prairie, and graduated from the Long Prairie High School in 1956.  She was united in marriage to Don Bleichner. They settled in Fridley and raised two children.

She was a stay-at-home mom until she started working in furniture sales, as a Avon Lady, Shorewood Restaurant office, Northwestern Artificial Limb and Brace Company, and the HRA in Long Prairie, Browerville and Staples. Later in life she married a high school friend from Long Prairie, Rich Schneekloth. She was a deacon at the American Lutheran Church for several years. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, playing cards, crafts, knitting, crocheting, going to the cabin and taking trips with her family.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt, a wonderful friend to all and a beautiful person. She enjoyed time with her family, friends and especially her granddaughters Ellie and Anna. She will be dearly missed.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Susan Lubbers; son, Ross Bleichner and wife Trish; two granddaughters, Ellie and Anna Bleichner; sister-in-law Rosie Schultz; stepchildren, Cindy, Mary, Lisa and families; brother and sister-in-law Gary and Pam Schneekloth; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Donald Bleichner and Richard Schneekloth; infant son, Mark Donald; son-in-law, Lyle Lubbers; siblings, Roselyn, LeRoy, Dale, Ellen, Danny and infant sister, Rosemond.
