Deanna Pufpaff passed away July 2, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in Saint Louis Park at the age of 74. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday July 19th, 2024, at United Methodist Church in Clarissa with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be at Woodman Cemetery in Clarissa, MN following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a dog rescue of your choice.

Deanna was born on January 21, 1950, to Marlin and Pearl (Swanson) Pufpaff in Bertha, MN. She graduated from Browerville High School in 1968 and then attended Wadena Technical College for accounting. After graduating from college, Deanna moved to Minneapolis and began working at Cargill. She worked there for many years and then worked at the University of Minnesota Physicians until her retirement. While working at the University of Minnesota Physicians she relocated and built a new home in Coon Rapids, MN.  When she wasn’t working, she could be found volunteering at church and was an extremely active member.

During retirement, she liked to be busy and fulfilled that need by working as a receptionist at a chiropractic office. Deanna enjoyed being at her camper at the lake, cooking, listening to music, reading, and putting puzzles together. She was known to be spunky, had a green thumb, and loved her rescue dogs immensely.  

Deanna is survived by her siblings, Richard Pufpaff of Little Falls; Douglas Pufpaff of Avon; and Cheri Pufpaff of St. Cloud; Nieces Sonya (Andy) Lundstrom of Rochester; Alicia (Jason) Klein of Holdingford; Nephew Evan (Dale) of Hershey, NE; and many great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ellen and Laurie Pufpaff, and five beloved dogs.
