Darel Norton

Darel was born August 3, 1946, in Crookston to William & Mae (Carl) Norton.  Darel enlisted in the US Air Force on January 6, 1965 and was honorably discharged on September 21, 1966.  Over the years, Darel lived in Minnesota, North Dakota, New Mexico, Illinois, Florida and Texas.  He worked as a truck driver, carpenter and worked at Wal-Mart until his retirement. 

Darel enjoyed working with wood, mechanic work, watching football and Nascar and spending time with his family. 

Darel is survived by siblings:  Glenn Norton, Leo Norton, Jeanette (James) Dumas; 10 nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and nephews and 17 great great nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents; 10 aunts and uncles, half sister and half brother.
