Connie was born June 22, 1942 in Hartley, Iowa to Henry and Jenny (Stangle) Hinders. She graduated valedictorian from Spirit Lake High School in 1960.  Connie married William Joseph Morisch in Spencer, Iowa on April 4, 1961.  They moved to Minnesota while growing their family of five sons.  Connie worked a variety of jobs while Bill drove semi-truck.  They enjoyed spending as much time as they could at the cabin fishing and “just relaxing”.

Connie moved into Long Prairie in 2010 and to Getty Street Assisted Living in 2019.  She loved her family above all and will be sadly missed by those left behind but welcomed by those who passed too soon before her.

She is survived by her sons, Dave (Barb), Mickey, Mark, Billy (Ashlee), brother Jerry “Joe” (Deb) Hinders, brothers-in-law, Gary Arndt, Ed (Pat) Morisch, Bob (Sue) Morisch, Larry (Linda) Morisch, sisters-in-law, Ella Mae (Don) Dirksen, Mary (Gary) Orthman, Katie (Gary) Wiesckircher, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill in 2004, son Doug in 2001, great grandson Levi Morisch in 2020, sisters, Linda (Denny) Storey, Peggy Arndt, Sally “Suzi” (Jason) Rose and brother -in-law Gayle Morisch.
