Clifford Neidhardt of Long Prairie, MN, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 at the University of Minnesota Hospital. 

Funeral services for Clifford will be Monday, August 19, 2024 at the Iten Funeral Home of Browerville, MN. at 11:00AM.  Visitation will take place at the funeral home that morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will take place later that day at the Moses Dane Cemetery in rural Burtrum.  Memorials to the family are preferred.

Clifford William Henry Neidhardt was born on October 21, 1942, the son of Martin and Irene (Kaelberer) Neidhardt of Hebron, North Dakota. He was the oldest of five children to the couple. The family later moved to rural Long Prairie Minnesota, where Clifford would graduate from high school in 1960. 

When Clifford was a kid he would ride his bicycle to the airfield in Clarissa, enthralled with all thing’s airplanes. He would eventually take lessons and at the age of sixteen would become a licensed small engine airplane pilot. Cliff had his own airstrip and hanger on his parents family farm. This was the start in a lifetime of flying and working on airplanes. From spending time at the airfield, he learned to become a small aircraft mechanic. 

On November 2, 1963, Clifford married April Oulman. Their union was blessed with two children, Samuel and Susie. April passed away in 2018. Clifford later met Patricia Carlson, and the two were married in 2020. He was described as an independent man, who whether you asked or not would be willing to share his opinion with you. He loved to fix things in his down time. Whether it was small aircraft, model airplanes or a drone, he liked to keep busy and keep up on anything to do with aviation.

Clifford passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the University of Minnesota hospital. He was 81 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Irene Neidhardt; and first wife, April. He leaves behind his wife, Patricia; children, Susie (Patrick) Keithahn, Samuel Neidhardt; grandchildren, Kyle, Heidi and Holly; siblings, Anthony (Viretta) Neidhardt, Larry Neidhardt, Jeanette Neidhardt, and Carolyn (Marshall) Rinkenberger.
