Betty Bostrom passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, at her home in Blaine. Betty was 67 years old.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Iten Funeral Home Chapel in Browerville. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Browerville.
Betty Bostrom was born on December 4, 1955, the daughter of Harold and Fae (Kastonek) of Minneapolis. Betty attended grade school and beyond in the twin cities. She later worked at various jobs in the community. Betty loved all things purple! She was a lover of animals, especially dogs, and cats. She found great companionship in her furry four-legged friends. In her spare time, Betty loved to go shopping, was always intrigued with purses, and had a variety of jewelry. Attending the yearly State Fair, with family and friends was always a highlight in her year of memories. Her family was important to her, enjoying every moment that they could get together. Betty later in life suffered a severe stroke, but still worked hard to rehabilitate to be able to get out and join her family and friends whenever possible.
Betty passed away at her home, on Monday, March 13, 2023, at the age of 67. She leaves behind her brother, Brian (Shelly) Bostrom; niece and nephew: Scott (Katie) Bostrom and Jennifer Bostrom; great-nieces and nephew: Nathan, Savanah, and Isabella; aunt, Phyllis Paskewitz.
She was joined in Heaven by her parents, Harold and Fae Bostrom; uncle, Gene Kastonek; her beloved family dogs, Penny and Cocoa; and the long-living cat Mitzi.
