Keith Gabler

Keith Gabler, 61, of Eagle Bend, passed away on June 14, 2019.  Funeral services for Keith will be held on July 6, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Eagle Bend with Pastor Justin Hesterman officiating.  Burial will be held at the Eagle Bend Cemetery, Eagle Bend.

Keith James was born on February 9, 1958, to James & Betty Lou (Aune) Gabler.  He had 12 years of school with his classmates of 1976 (Spirit of '76).   He then joined the Army in 1976, where he served as an MP in Germany for 2 years, he was discharged in 1979.   Keith married Diane Anderson in July 31, 1976, they were married for 7 years and have remained friends through the years.   Keith had many jobs throughout the years.   He enjoyed driving around the countryside, visiting friends and telling stories usually with an Old Mill in hand.   He lived a life many never understood but lived the way he wanted and was happy.   Keith had a heart of gold; he would walk a mile to help out anyone in need but could never make a step to help himself. 

Keith is preceded in death by his dad Jim and infant son Jason.

Keith is survived by his mother Betty Lou, daughter Carly (Jared) Roberts, granddaughters:  Peyton and Summer Roberts; brothers: Gary (Donna) Gabler, Dennis (Janet) Gabler and Special Friend, Debi Schlosser.
