Kathryn Tabatt, 82, of Long Prairie, passed away on May 15, 2019. Funeral services for Kathryn will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Prairie with Pastor Noah Wehrspann officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Interment will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Long Prairie. Kathryn was born March 31, 1937, in Raymond Township, Stearns County, to Fred & Wilhelmine (Lohmann) Wiegers. When she was four years old she and her family moved to Todd County. Kathryn went to District 31 and District 48 Country Schools. She attended 6-8 grades at Trinity Lutheran School and later attended the Long Prairie High School. Kathryn was united in marriage to Walter Tabatt on October 14, 1956 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Prairie, and together they settled on the family farm where they raised their five children. She worked various jobs; Home Bakery, Lubbert's Grocery and Donny's Warehouse Bakery. Kathryns's hobbies were gardening, sewing, mending and quilting, embroidering baby quilt tops and dish towels, playing cards and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. Kathryn is survived by her children: John (Barb) Tabatt of Browerville, Connie (John) Zinter of Long Prairie, Jacqueline (Jeff) Georges of Long Prairie, and Jerome (Brenda) Tabatt; grandsons: John and Jason Tabatt, Michael, Matthew, and Nathan Zinter, Beau Tabatt, Joshua, Jeremy and Justin Georges and Riley Tabatt; granddaughters, Paige and Brooke Tabatt, Sarah Becker, Carley Tabatt and Hope Wolfe; 24 great grandchildren and one on the way. Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents; husband Walter June 6, 2011 and son Eugene Tabatt on May 31, 2018.
