Glenis Hinzmann

  Glenis Hinzmann, 77, of Clarissa, passed away on April 24, 2019.  Memorial services for Glenis will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Clarissa with Pastor Justin Hesterman officiating.  Friends may call on the day of the funeral one hour prior to the service at the church. Glenis was born February 14, 1942, in Clarissa to Leo & Pauline (Fuchs) Cuchna.  She graduated from the Clarissa High School and on February 28, 1962, Glenis married Gerald Hinzmann.  She worked various jobs over the years; Eagle Valley High School as the lunch lady, Valley Express, Central Todd County Care Center, Pro Ag, switch board operator, Clarissa Bank, Moen's Gas Station and the Clarissa Independent. Glenis enjoyed embroidering, bowling, knitting, crocheting, crafts, having coffee with her friends and especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Glenis is survived by her husband Jerry of Clarissa, children:  Sherri Hinzmann of Browerville, Steven (Donna) Hinzmann of Browerville, Shellie (Larry) Drayna of Clarissa; 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; siblings:  Roger (Janet) Cuchna of South St. Paul, Gloria (Bill) Christensen of Clarissa, Linda (Jim) Line of Clarissa, Debbie (Cuchna) Monson of Willmar, Reed (Judy) Cuchna of Atwater, Tom (Linda) Cuchna of Atwater, Ronnie (Brenda) Cuchna of Willmar and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Glenis is preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter and brothers:  Philip and Mark.
