Gasper Wolf, 88, of Browerville, passed away on July 19, 2019. Funeral services for Gasper will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, 11:00 a.m., at the Faith Lutheran Church in Eagle Bend with Pastor Kali Christensen officiating. Burial will be held at the St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Clarissa.
Gasper was born February 6, 1931, in Raymond, to Gasper & Dorothy (Miller) Wolf. He married Sheila Hoffman on July 28, 1956. They moved to Eagle Bend where they farmed and ran the Outlaw Store. Eventually moving to Clarissa, he continued to farm and do repair work for others in the area. Gasper married Lillian Kannianen in 2001. He enjoyed going to many auctions, watching cowboy movies, listening to Polka music and going to the casino. Gasper was a member of the United Methodist Church in Clarissa.
Gasper is preceded in death by his parents Gasper & Dorothy; wife Sheila in 1997, siblings: Walter Wolf, Roger (Mitzi) Wolf, Margaret Wolf, Dorothy Wolf and Liz (Donnie) Maland; in-laws: Kermit (Alice) Maland, John (Shirley) Maland and Eldon (Betty) Maland.
Gasper is survived by his wife Lillian; children: Gasper Jr., Jeff (Kim), Dean (Sharon), and Chris (Kurt) Niemeyer; grandchildren: Michelle, Jesse and Blake; step grandchildren Scottie, Brian; great grandchildren: Bryce, Mila and Kaden; siblings: Shirley (Art) Gadbaw, Betty Maland, Alice Maland, Calvin (Cindy) Wolf, Don (Alice) Wolf, Jimmy Wolf Dan (Caroline) Wolf, and Howard (Debbie) Wolf and in-law Donnie Maland.
