Dorothy (Yezek) Heiling

Dorothy was born February 14, 1929, in Pillager to Charles & Amanda (Schildt) Yezek.  On June 17, 1952, she married Victor Heiling.  Her greatest joy was taking care of her family.  Dorothy loved to garden and be outside; she loved sewing, making most of her children’s clothing when they were younger.  Dorothy created many quilts and multiple wardrobes for her daughters’ Barbie dolls.   She was an avid reader and instilled her love of books in her children.   She also loved to fix jigsaw puzzles.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; husband Victor, sons-in-law Ron Altrichter, John Peterson, one grandchild and one great grandchild.

Dorothy is survived by her children:  Tom (Mary) Heiling, Pat Altrichter, Veronica (Gene) Booker, Judith Heiling, Rose (Ron) McManigle, Regina (Ralph) Blommel, Lillian Peterson, Dan Heiling and Sue (Greg) Reigel; brother Francis (Mary) Yezek, sister Joan Bundy; 22 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
