Maymie was born April 23, 1925 to Walter Vernon Warner and Emma (Leagjeld) Warner in Iona Township, Todd County, MN. She grew up helping on the family farm and from that experience always called the early morning hours `the best part of the day. She married George Weitemier, December 31, 1943 at the Weitemier farm east of Browerville.
Maymie loved children and enjoyed being around them her entire life. She was not one to rest, she was always doing something whether it was working or having fun, she kept busy. She felt very fortunate traveling with family and to have seen some wonderful things. Maymie was a warm and loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed by everyone whose life was touched by her.
Maymie is survived by June Weitemier (David A. Ringwelski)of Long Prairie, Stanley (Patricia) Weitemier of Wadena, Larry Weitemier of Long Prairie, Charles (Sandra) Weitemier of Wyoming, Cindy (Raymond) Scherbing of Brooklyn Park, Jeffrey Weitemier of Browerville, Gil Weitemier of Flensburg, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter; sister Carol (George) Keller; brother-in- law Milton Holman; sister-in law Goldie Warner; and many nephews, nieces and cousins and a special friend, Dr. Oliver Titrud of Little Falls. All her children live in Minnesota.
Maymie was preceded in death by her husband, George in November of 1983; her parents, Walter Warner and Emma Oliver, brothers Ervin, Raymond and Robert Warner; sisters, Irene Ellingson, Marie Reed, Ethel Holman and Gladys Belinski
