Vennette Tesch, 90, of Browerville, passed away on June 16, 2010 at the Centra Care Health Systems in Long Prairie.  Funeral services for Vennette were held on Monday, June 21, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville with Father Ralph Zimmerman officiating.  Interment was held at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery, Browerville.

Vennette was born May 29, 1920, in Ward Township, Todd County, to Thomas & Eleanor (Sobota) Kulick.  On October 15, 1940 she married Ortwin Tesch at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Browerville.  Vennette and Ortwin were dairy farmers East of Browerville for 45 years.  Vennette was a member of Red Hats and Homemakers.  She was a very social person, and an active gardener and crafter and for many years she was active in 4H.  After Ortwin's death, Vennette moved to Long Prairie in 2001.  She was a lifelong member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville.

Vennette is survived by her children:  Jacquelyn (James) Trucker of St. Paul, Lyle (Sheila) Tesch of St. Paul and Ivan (Cheri) Tesch of Pillsbury, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Vennette is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ortwin on December 26, 1999 granddaughter Rachel on July 14, 2006 and sister Irene.
