Arthur Noska, 86, of Cushing, passed away on December 13, 2009 at the Lakewood Health System in Staples.  Funeral services for Art will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2009, 11:00 a.m. , at the Iten Funeral Home in Browerville with Pastor Nate Loer officiating.  Friends may call on Tuesday, December 15, 2009, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., at the Iten Funeral Home in Browerville and on the day of the service beginning at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Browerville.

Art was born September 30, 1923, on the family farm in Moran Township, Todd County, to John & Mary (Motl) Noska.  He attended country school at District 132 through the 8th grade.  Art worked many different jobs until he joined the Merchant Marines in 1944.  He was honorably discharged in 1946.  Art married Leatrice Cline on May 12, 1948 in Clarissa.  Together Art & Leatrice farmed in Moran Township for 32 years until Art retired in 1980.  Art loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, picking berries, playing cards and having a good time.

Art is survived by his wife Leatrice of Cushing, children:  Jerry (Dianne) Noska of Browerville, Joy (Ron) Beck of Menahga, Dan Noska of Cushing, Gail (Bob) Trout of Browerville, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. 

Art is preceded in death by his parents, brothers:  Harry, Elmer, Don, Lester; sisters:  Lillian and Harriet.
