Anton Rudolph Koukol, 77, of St. Cloud, passed away on January 27, 2009, at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud.  Funeral services for Anton were held on Friday, January 30, 2009, 1:00 p.m., at the Iten Funeral Home in Browerville with Fr. David Maciej officiating.  Interment was held at the Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery in Little Falls.

Anton was born on May 27, 1931 in Browerville, to Frank and Pauline (Staehler) Koukol.  He served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1954 when he was honorably discharged.  Anton has lived in the St. Cloud area for many years.  He enjoyed coffee, having snacks and visiting. 

Anton is preceded in death by his parents, siblings:  Frank, James, George, Pauline, Emil, Joseph, Catherine, Julia and Albert.    Anton is survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
