
John Ollman, 67, of Browerville, passed away surrounded by his family at the St. Cloud Hospital on October 17, 2011. Funeral services for John were held on Thursday, October 20, 2011, 10:30 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville with Fr. Rich Walz officiating. Burial was at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.
John was born October 30, 1943 in Mankato to Howard & Dolores (Denzer) Ollman. John graduated from Browerville High School. After graduation he joined the United States Navy on October 10, 1961 and was honorably discharged February 12, 1965. On November 7, 1967, John married Lynn Ann Walter in Grand Rapids. John owned and operated Johnny O's drive in from 1965 - 1976. In the early days, John enjoyed playing softball; he also enjoyed fishing, bowling, and especially hunting with his family at the hobby farm "The 80". He stayed very active with his children and grandchildren. John spent the last 30 years announcing the Browerville Tigers home football games and was Eucharistic minister for shut-ins at Christ the King.
John is survived by his wife Lynn of Browerville, children: Julie Ollman of Alexandria, Tracy (Brent) Roth of Alexandria, Tom (Jennifer) Ollman of Royalton, 8 grandchildren: Jessica, Hannah, Alexis, Sarah, Jack, Celeste, Cal, Cynthia; siblings: Rose-Marie Bebault of Belle Plaine; Dave (Cherie) Ollman of Taylors Falls, WI; Ron Ollman of St. Cloud; Evie (Ted) Biermaier of Wyoming; Willard Koivisto of White Bear Lake; Lyle (Joy) Koivisto of Duluth and Greg (Dee) Koivisto of Cloquet.
