
Florian J. Hynnek, 91 of Browerville died on Sunday, February 8 at the Central Todd County Care Center in Clarissa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Florian on Thursday, Feb 12, 2009, 12:00 p.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville with burial in the parish cemetery. The visitation will be on Wednesday, February 11 from 4 – 8 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Home in Browerville and one hour prior to the service at the church. Christian Women will pray the rosary at 4:30 p.m. and parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m.
Florian was born February 19, 1917 on the family farm to Frank &Julia (Ostrowski) Hynnek. He attended country school and graduated from Browerville Public School in 1935. He married Florence Loegering September 15, 1937 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Browerville. Florian was a life-long farmer and in 1959 purchased the farm from his sister. He loved farming; raising crops and livestock.
Florian liked to hunt, fish and play cards; especially pinochle. Making polish and buckwheat sausage and cooking were somethings that Florian enjoyed doing.
Florian is preceded in death by his parents, wife Florence, son Dallas & 11 brothers and sisters, daughter-in-law Pat Hynnek and great grandson Jay Hynnek.
He is survived by his children; Julian (Carolyn), Sue (Wayne), Michael, Debra (Pat), one sister Isabel Connor, 14 grandchildren & 23 great grandchildren.
