The Iten Funeral Home of Browerville and Clarissa is family owned and has been for over 100 years. Formerly known as the Iten & Heid Funeral Home it is now in its 4th generation. In 1996 Mike and Heidi Iten bought the funeral home from Jerry and Thomas Iten and are committed to keeping the strong tradition of excellent service.

Mike and Heidi are active in the community: Lions Club, Browerville School Board, Browerville Fire Department, Church Council, Elementary Religious Education Coordinator, Planning & Zoning, Browerville and Clarissa Commercial Clubs. They are dedicated in being part of the community. The funeral home is also a member of the Minnesota Funeral Director’s Association, National Funeral Directors Association and supporters of Camp Amanda, a camp that helps to provide children with encouragement and support during their time of grief.
