Gordon Charles Hill, 70, of Long Prairie, passed away at his home on March 5, 2009.  Funeral services for Gordon were held on Monday, March 9, 2009, 11 a.m., at the Iten Funeral Home in Browerville with Pastor Nate Loer officiating.  Interment was held at the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery in Little Falls.   Gordon was born September 26, 1938 in Long Prairie to Lawrence & Eva (Pufpaff) Hill.  He enlisted in the United States Navy on January 5, 1956 and was honorably discharged on September 25, 1959.  Gordon was united in marriage on March 10, 1962 to Judith Severts in Robbinsdale Minnesota.  He enjoyed yard work, playing cards, fishing, hunting, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.  Gordon was a member of the Labor Union. Gordon is survived by his loving wife Judy of Long Prairie, son Timothy of New Richmond, Wisconsin; daughter Deborah (Tom) Casey of North Port, Florida; grandson Corey; brother Richard of St. Louis Park; sister Norma Storsz of Black Canyon, Arizona. Gordon is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Charles Hill, December 7, 1985 and Eva Mathilda Hill July 7, 1941.
