Ida Marie Flicker, 91, of Long Prairie, passed away on March 6, 2010, at the Long Prairie Memorial Nursing Home.  Funeral services for Ida were held on Monday, March 15, 2010, 10:30 a.m., at St. John Vianney Church , rural Long Prairie with Father Adam Portugal officiating.  Burial was at Christ the King Cemetery, Browerville.

Ida was born on June 3, 1918 in Foley, Minnesota to Louis and Rose Donais.  Ida grew up in a large share cropper family in Foley.  She moved to California later in life and met her soul mate.  Ida married Leonard John Flicker on May 9, 1956 at St. Augustine Church in Culver City, California.  Unable to have children, Ida and Leonard adopted their only son, Kevin.  They moved back to Minnesota to retire.  Ida was a member of the St. John Vianney Church.

Ida is survived by her husband, Leonard of Long Prairie, son Kevin of Culver City, California, siblings:  Mable Pivic, Stella Sneider, Larry Donais, Mildred Plog, Marjorie Paulson, Mary Ann Kemper and grandchildren, Michael & John Flicker.

Ida is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Clarance Donais, Clemance Laird, Henry Donais, Wilfred Donais, Clifford Donais, Melvina Wojciechowski, Paul Donais and Manie Dombrovski.
