Gloria Bleninger 65, of Browerville, passed away on June 12, 2009, at the Long Prairie Memorial Nursing Home. Funeral services for Gloria were held Tuesday, June 16, 2009, 11:00 a.m., at the Iten Funeral Home in Browerville with Fr. David Maciej officiating. Burial was at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery in Browerville.

Gloria was born to George & Tilly (Peters) Ehlers on December 31, 1943 at Maquoketa Iowa. She was married to Robert Bleninger on October 22, 1966 at the Church of Corpus Christi in Roseville. Gloria and her husband Robert moved to Browerville in 1972 where they farmed for many years. Gloria worked at Little Elk Ranch and the Prairie View 400. She delivered meals on wheels until 2006 when she was diagnosed with cancer. Gloria was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville.

Gloria is survived by her children: Robert Bleninger of Sauk Centre, Joe (Cindy) Bleninger of Browerville, Albert Bleninger of Browerville, John Bleninger of Browerville, 3 grandchildren: Robert, Kyle and Billy Bleninger, siblings: LeRoy (Jerri) Ehlers, Ethel Rockwell, Gerald (Elaine) Ehlers and Gene Ehlers.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, sister Evelyn and brother John.
