Specialist Joshua James Bible, 22, of Fairbanks, Alaska (formerly of Browerville) passed away on July 10, 2010, in Fairbanks. Funeral services for Joshua will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010, 11:00 a.m., at the Zion Lutheran Church in Browerville with Pastor Nate Loer officiating. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., at Zion Lutheran Church in Browerville and on the day of the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Trinity Cemetery in Browerville with full military honors.
Joshua was born January 28, 1988 in St. Cloud to Glenn & Julie (Betsinger) Bible. He attended Christ the King Catholic School, Browerville High School and Eagle Valley High School. After graduation in 2006, Joshua pursued a military career in the United States Army. He served in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2008-2009.
Joshua is survived by his two sons: Jerry James Tretter-Bible and Evan James Bible, his wife Amanda Bible, father and step mother Glenn & Lisa Bible of Lake Crystal, mother Julie Leraas of Browerville, siblings: Jake, Samuel and Madeline, grandmother Darlene Walz of Scottsdale, Arizona, grandmother Pam Betsinger of Clarissa and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Joshua is preceded in death by his grandfathers: Harold Bible and Jerry Betsinger as well as his beloved cat Mork.
