Tasha Shutter, 24 of St. Cloud died unexpectedly on September 24, 2006.  A Mass of Christian Burial was held for Tasha on September 28, 2006, 1 pm at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Long Prairie, with Fr. Scott Wittkop officiating.  The interment was at Christ the King Cemetery in Browerville.

 

Tasha was born on December 26, 1981 in Fridley, MN and lived in Forest Lake until 1987 when her family moved to Long Prairie.  In her high school career she played softball, tennis and participated in gymnastics.  Tasha graduated from Long Prairie in 2000 and attended the Rasmussen Business College, receiving and associates degree.  Tasha married Justin Shutter on August 24, 2002 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Long Prairie.  She worked for SJ Louis Construction in St. Cloud.  Tasha enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, shopping for shoes, horseback riding and doing karaoke.  She enjoyed the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas.  She was very creative with crafts and decorating.  Tasha was Godmother to many and loved the joy of gift giving.  Tasha loved her family and friends very much.

 

She is survived by her husband, Justin of St. Cloud, mother, Kim (Mark) Sullivan of Long Prairie, father, Richard (Lynn) Hauck of St. Paul; siblings, Chad (Alison) Hauck of St. Cloud, twin sister Keisa (John) Retka of Grey Eagle, Alicia Petron of Long Prairie, Kylah Sullivan of Long Prairie, Jennifer (Henry) Becker of Long Prairie, Maria (Domingo) Diotalevi of Winona, Step-siblings, Jesse (Rachel) Sullivan of Pequot Lakes, Eric (fiancé Jackie Hobbs) Sullivan of Browerville, Leah Sventek of Brandon, S.D.,  Grandmother, Maradee Landholm of Long Prairie, Grandfather Frank Petron of Long Prairie, grandparents Teresa & Ed Hauck of Utica, MN step-grandparents, Edwin & Kathleen Sullivan of Detroit Lakes, mother & father-in-law Ron and Sue Shutter of Long Prairie, sister-in-law Bridget (Dan) Minke of Long Prairie, brother-in-law Jeremy Shutter of Long Prairie and many nieces, nephews aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved dog “Bear”.

 

Tasha is preceded in death by her aunt Eujenie Hauck, great grandmother Pearl Davis, great grandmother, Onalee Hauck, great grandparents, Sophie and Frank Petron.
