Ruby Busacker, 70, of Long Prairie, passed away at Burnsville on March 9, 2006. 

Funeral services for Ruby will be held on Monday, March 13, 2006, 1 p.m., at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Long Prairie with Rev. Gerold Goetz officiating.  Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.  Casket bearers were Dale Kuehne, Ross Kuehne, Earl Sod, Ron Lambrecht, Julie Lambrecht, Sheila Johnson, Jessica Kuehne and Adam Kuehne.  

Ruby was born on April 11, 1935 in Long Prairie Township, Todd County, Minnesota, to Otto & Ruth (Smith) Kuehne.  On June 8, 1955 she married Roger Busacker at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Long Prairie Township.  Ruby was a very special person and touched the lives of many.  She was a wonderful mom, sister and friend.  She had a big heart, always being there for everyone and lending a helping hand.  She loved crocheting, playing cards, gardening and just spending time with family and friends.  Ruby was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church. 

 

Ruby is survived by her daughter Brenda (Roger) Ganz of Swanville, siblings:  Norman (Janet) Kuehne of Minneapolis, Lorna (Carroll) Lambrecht of Watertown, Diane (Dave) Reece of Hutchinson, Roland (Viola) Kuehne of Watertown, Bruce Kuehne of Farmington, brother in law, Lester Sod of Little Falls, sister in law, Joan Luer of Chetek, Wisconsin.  Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roger, Sister Elaine Sod, nephew Chad Kuehne, brother in law Fred Luer and brother in law Jerry Ahl.
