Rose Mary Boser, 48, of Browerville, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at the Greater Staples Hospital.  Funeral services for Rosie will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, 11 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville with Fr. David Maciej officiating.  Interment will be held at Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery in Little Falls.

 

Rosie was born on December 15, 1959, in Onamia, Minnesota to Richard & Maxine (Sauer) Skiba.  She was raised on the family farm near Harding.  Rosie attended school in Pipe Center and graduated from Brainerd High School in 1978.  After high school Rosie worked for a subsidiary of IBM.  On May 19, 1984, Rosie married Ted Boser at the Holy Family Catholic Church near Bull Dog Lake.  After their marriage, Rosie and Ted moved to Long Prairie, where she worked for Holiday Grocery.  In 1989, Rosie and Ted moved their family to Browerville.  During this time, Rosie worked at Konetzko’s, was the assistant manager at Petro Plus and then worked at Dan’s Prize.  Rosie enjoyed working in the garden, especially flowers, ice fishing, motorcycle riding, wood working, taking trips to the Casino and loved spending time with her children, who she was very proud of.  Rosie was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville. 

 

Rosie is survived by her husband Ted of Browerville, son, Luke of Anchorage, Alaska, daughters:  Boni Jo of Little Rock, Arkansas, LeAnn of Browerville, mother, Maxine of Harding, brothers:  Rick (Pam) of Hillman, Bobby (Kim) of Pierz, Jody (Crystal) of Harding, sisters, Chris (Steve) Pomrenke of Nome, Alaska, Betsy (Del) Embree of Royalton, Carole Skiba of Brainerd, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. 

 

Rosie is preceded in death by her dad and brother Gene.
