Lynn was born on May 11, 1934 in Bertha, Minnesota to Glen & Lucy (Wood) Prindle.  He grew up on a farm near Staples, and graduated from the Staples High School in 1954.  Lynn enlisted in the US Army in 1955 and was honorably discharged in 1957.   Lynn married Marlys Thomson on December 28, 1957 in Motley.  They lived in the Anoka area and moved to Staples in 1975.  Lynn was a lifelong auto mechanic.  He taught auto mechanics for 11 years at Woodland COOP, drove coach bus for Northwest Transit, worked several years at Mueller Motors and was a courier for Twin City Optical.  While living in Anoka, Lynn was an active member at Anoka Assembly of God Church and then at Staples Assembly of God Church where he served as deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, teacher, and music leader.  

 

Lynn is survived by his wife Marlys of Staples, children:  Jeffrey (Shelli) Prindle of Irwin, Pennsylvania, Derek (Nicole) Prindle of Baxter, Joy (Michael) Weyer of Staples, Valerie (Christopher) Gaul of Hayriver, NWT Canada, 4 grandchildren:  Jason, Megan, Tera, and Renee Weyer, sister-in-law, Margaret Prindle of Brainerd and many nieces and nephews. 

 

Lynn is preceded in death by his parents, brothers:  Marion, Lyle and Glenn Prindle and sisters:  Myra and Betty.
