Patty was born on November 14, 1962 in Browerville, to Al & Beverly (Raschke) Wettstein.  She was raised on the family farm in rural Long Prairie and graduated from Long Prairie high school in 1981.  She completed one year of college at North Dakota State School of Science and continued on at Mankato State.  On June 23, 1984 Patty married Andy Seifert at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Long Prairie. A year later, they moved to Clarissa which they made their home and raised their family.  Patty was employed at the Todd County Sheriff’s Department in the fall of 1985.  She worked there as a bailiff, dispatcher and jailer until the present.  Patty enjoyed doing scrapbooks, cooking, going camping, snowmobiling and hunting.  She also loved to attend her children’s activities. 

Patty is survived by her husband Andy of Clarissa ,two children Tami and Jesse of Clarissa, parents Al & Beverly Wettstein of Long Prairie, in-laws, Leander and Dorothy Seifert of Clarissa, siblings:  Lynette (Fred) Cain of Blomkest, MN, Tom Wettstein of Long Prairie, Dan ( Pauline) Wettstein of Hazen, ND, Scott (Lesa) Wettstein of Long Prairie and Mary (Jeff) Littler of Long Prairie.

Patty was preceded in death by her grandparents Walt & Lucille Raschke and Mary & Otto Wettstein. 

Patty will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
