Cecelia Dirkes, 93 of Browerville died on Tuesday, July 11 at the Lakewood Health System/Hospital in Staples.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 14 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Browerville with Fr. John Caskey officiating; burial will be in the church cemetery.  Casket Bearers were Chris Dirkes, Andrew Dirkes, Bill Buhl, Roy Buhl, Jr., Michael Woeste, Louie Doelz, Paul Doelz, Louis Dirkes and James Dirkes.  Honorary Casket Bearers were Kay VanDekamp, Ruth Christianson, Theresa Zelgert and Babe Spychalla.  Cross Bearer was Ray Benning Sr.

Patricia Ann Seifert, 43 of Clarissa passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at her home.  Funeral services for Patty were held on Monday, July 24th, 10 a.m., at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Clarissa with Fr. John Caskey officiating.  Interment was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Clarissa.  Casket bearers were Terry Bandemer, John Fink, Tracy Madson, Kurt Skillings, Denny Pastian and David Kircher.
